WELCOME TO THE COAST GUARD HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Coast Guard Heritage Museum is located in Barnstable Village on Cape Cod, MA. 
              The Museum  is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the history of the United States Coast Guard and its predecessor organizations.
We are open from May through October. Our hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM.      In addition to USCG history, our location also includes the Oldest Wooden Jail in America and the Village Blacksmith Shop.

The Museum features items and information covering the history of the Life Saving Service as it existed on Cape Cod, Including stations, equipment, and stories.
